What to include in the T&C document

Generally speaking, T&C often address these types of issues: Who is allowed to use the website; the possible payment methods; a declaration that the website owner may change his or her offering in the future; the types of warranties the website owner gives his or her customers; a reference to issues of intellectual property or copyrights, where relevant; the website owner’s right to suspend or cancel a member’s account; and much, much more.

Represents the now defunct village of Barton which was incorporated into the city of West Bend in 1961. This settlement had a large commercial and cultural impact on all of West Bend, and it is important to have it represented in a West Bend flag.

Symbolized the Milwaukee River that passes through West Bend. The Milwaukee River played an essential role in the founding of the city of West Bend. The city's name comes from the fact that it is on a west bend of the river. The river also played a key role in early industry. To this day it still is important to the city, now playing a more recreational role.

Represents the historical downtown development in West Bend along the Milwaukee River. This area acts as the cultural and commercial center for the city of West Bend.

Represents the city as a whole. This burgundy color is used frequently across West Bend, being used on the public library, historical Washington county courthouse, cobblestones located downtown, and in many promotionals made by the city.

Historical County Courthouse "The Tower"

"The Tower" is the city of West Bend's most recognizable building, dominating the skyline in many parts of the city. It is already used on the city of West Bend city seal. Its representation also highlights West Bend's role as the county seat of Washington county.

Angle of Flag

The diagonal angle the flag is using is meant to represent a simplified version of the geographical direction the Milwaukee river takes through the center of West Bend. The angle also serves the purpose of highlighting the Western and Eastern halfs of the west bend and how the western half is more developed.
